Managing Multiple E-mail Accounts from Your Kindle Fire

Setting up multiple preexisting e-mail addresses to work with your Kindle Fire is just a matter of repeating the e-mail account setup process multiple times, once for each e-mail account. Once this setup process is completed for each account, you will be able to manage them from your Kindle Fire.

As you’re looking at the Inbox screen, tap the Inbox pull-down menu icon displayed near the top-left corner of the screen to select just one e-mail account at a time from which to view incoming e-mails. You’ll probably find it more convenient, however, to select the Unified Inbox option in order to view all of the incoming e-mails, from all of your accounts, within one Inbox screen.

To see how many messages you have within each account, tap the Menu option from the inbox and select the Accounts option. The Accounts screen will display each e-mail account your tablet is set up to work with and will display a number that indicates how many incoming messages are stored within the inbox within an oval displayed next to the account name. Tap the account listing from the Accounts screen to access the inbox for just that account.

When composing an e-mail, in addition to the To , Cc, Bcc, Subject, and Signature fields and the Message Text window, you will notice a Send As option displayed between the Signature field and the virtual keyboard if you’re managing more than one e-mail account from your tablet. Tap this Save As pull-down menu to select which of your e-mail accounts you want the message you’re composing to be sent from.
